Nasal Congestion Remedies: Any Home Remedy For Nasal Congestion

Causes Of Nasal Congestion
In most cases, germs either make their way into the body through the throat or the nose. The germs are expelled from a sick person’s system when they cough or sneeze. When a healthy person breathes in these germs, they lodge in his respiratory tissues and can cause an infection. The lining of the nose is made up of a mucosal membrane which is made up of a great number of blood vessels. When these particular blood vessels in the nose expand and the result is a swelling of the mucosal membrane then it is referred to as nasal congestion. Nasal congestion can lead to a lot of other difficulties like breathing difficulties and problems with the ears and with one’s hearing. If the nasal passage is significantly affected then it can cause disturbances while sleeping as it results in heaving and snoring. In extreme cases, it may even result in not breathing for a while when the person is asleep. The commonest cause of food allergic reactions is due to consumption of dairy products. Chronic nasal congestion can be treated and even cured by avoiding certain food products like cheese, ice cream, pasteurized milk, cream cheese and other pasteurized dairy products.
